CSN Bookshelf Review + GIVEAWAY!

You may remember that awhile ago I did a feature on the fine folks at CSN and their 200+ online stores that sell everything you could possibly want, from items for your dining room to home electronics to bookshelves to whatever else you could possibly need. Well, part of the grand endeavor of moving all of my stuff from Buffalo to Virginia Beach meant moving my new bookshelf from CSN as well! For those just tuning in, here's the shelf in question, as well as the post where I outline my bookshelf woes:
Ordering Experience
Ordering from CSN was easy peasy- once the item was ordered, I was even able to easily redirect the shipping address to one where someone would be able to retrieve the shelf once it arrived.

The shelf was packaged securely and safely for mailing but was still easy to get out once I was ready to assemble it. Sometimes I order items that are packaged so securely that even I can't get into them, which makes me worry about damaging the items inside. This was definitely not an issue here. The shelf survived the ride from Syracuse to Buffalo and then from Buffalo to Virginia Beach with no issues whatsoever.

Remember in high school when every teacher wanted to give you an assessment that told you your learning style? Unsurprisingly, I got results that said my strengths were with words and writing; less obviously, they might as well have said "let someone else assemble your furniture, and anything else for that matter." Following diagrams and things like that are definitely not my strengths, but I was able to assemble the shelf with relatively little drama in the confines of my living room, with boxes of books everywhere. Assembly did require a screwdriver and hammer, which were not included, but I find I prefer using my own tools to using ridiculous ones that are included with things like these.

Overall Appearance
The shelf is a little lighter in color than it appears in the picture above, and is a nice addition to my living room. It holds the overflow books from my collection well and is just the right height so that none of the books are out of reach or too hard to see. It appears that CSN has rescued me from having my books exploding out of every possible area all over the place, and for that I'm very grateful.

Many thanks to Jamie and the team at CSN for this opportunity! Now, without further ado, here are the details for you to win a sweet prize from CSN for yourself, namely, a $40 gift certificate to the CSN retailer of your choice!

Glad to hear the book shelf was nice. It is hard to find a good shelving any more. Some of them are very flimsy. But sounds like this one is worth the money. Glad you are enjoying it.
