I also have Internet access again, which means that I am back in action all the way around!
With that said, I've stumbled across some exciting events and activities going on in the bloggy universe:
First off, it's Dystopian August over at Presenting Lenore! All month long there will be reviews of dystopian books, forthcoming dystopian titles in 2011 and beyond, and all kinds of cool stuff! First among the cool things is a chance to win a sweet prize pack of dystopian novels. All you have to do is pick a dystopian novel, read it and review it this month, and add your link to the Mr. Linky on the contest page! Boom! You're entered to win a sweet prize.
Maybe you need a recommendation of what dystopian book to read. Maybe you haven't read The Hunger Games or Catching Fire yet, or maybe you are so stoked for Mockingjay that you can barely contain yourself. Well, have no fear, because the 13 District Blog Tour is here! Each stop spotlights one of the districts from the books and features a chance to win some awesome prizes before and after Mockingjay is released on August 24th! Here are the stops, according to the official Hunger Games Facebook page, and you can bet I'll be stopping by all of them:Stop 1 August 2

This is a great chance to check out some new blogs as well (and who doesn't like that?!)
Finally, Mel at Mel's Books and Info has declared August to be:

I am so on board with this! I think many of us struggle with review piles, TBR piles, and the never-ending list of books we want to read that are forthcoming, so Mel has issued a challenge: read the books you have already, and don't get more until August is over. I love her for that, seriously.
So here are my parameters for this event:
1. Read only books I already have- that includes Netgalley books, ARCs, review copies, and books I own.
2. No buying new books until August is over.
3. Blog with Bite is reading Blood Law and Generation Dead this month; I can get those from the library.
If you are on board to make a dent in your TBR piles too, head on over to Mel's blog and sign up!
I have some exciting stuff coming up here at What Book is That? as well- I'll be reflecting on my first month with Dee the Kindle as well as posting my review of the shelf from CSN. And you know that means there's a CSN giveaway coming! Stay tuned, gentle readers, stay tuned.

Congrats on the new home!!! :)
Congratulations on your move! I know what you mean about moving the books. My husband has told me if we ever move again, I will be the one moving all my books! YIKES! Thank you for joining my challenge and good luck getting through August without buying books!
@Natasha- Thank you! :D
@Mel- My dearly beloved said the same thing! I think his exact words were "now that you have a Kindle you can get ebooks of these damn things!" And he's a reader too and has his own books. I'm so excited for the challenge- hopefully I can get some serious reading done! :D
yeah for moving safely and dearly beloved and books( so can relate) good to know about blood law library.
Glad you made it there safe are you at the job right away or have some time to settle in..:D I cant wait to for Mockingjay.....
@Julie I just finished unpacking all the books and between his and mine every scrap of shelf space is totally full. Looks like I need to get reading and make some room!
@Tina I'm starting trainings and stuff this week for my new job and am back full time on the 16th. I observed a classroom today and so far everything looks really fun and exciting!
