Upcoming Adventures!

I love Adventure Time! In addition to being a fun show, it's also a great component of any day!  With that said, here are some exciting upcoming events in which What Book is That? will be a participant:

Fall into Reading and its spring counterpart are arguably the easiest reading challenges on the planet- hosted by the always whimsical Callapidder Days, all you have to do is make a post at the onset of the challenge (Wednesday, September 22nd) wherein you select what your personal goal for the challenge will be and announce it to the world. There will be a linkup posted; you add your link and boom! You're halfway to being eligible for great prizes!  The other half of the eligibility requirement is met at the end of the challenge (December 20th) when you post a wrap up of how you did! Easy as pie.  Head on over and sign up!

Fall is upon us and that means that it's time for another installment of Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon! This is the one that started it all, and is in memory of a book blogger who, although I never met her, sounds like a great person who is sorely missed. There are tons of prizes, challenges, opportunities to meet new bloggers, and above all, a chance to read some great books! The official start time is Friday, October 9th at 1pm GMT, so head on over and join the fun!

If you're not available that weekend or (like me) just can't get enough of this kind of event, there's a Halloween themed read-a-thon the following weekend as well! It's hosted by Young Adult Books Reviewed and is all about the paranormal and other spooky books! Again there'll be challenges and good times for one and all.

What events and bloggy activities are you gearing up for? Comment about them and spread the word!

It is admirable and amazing to me that you can do all of this and teach, too...when I taught I could barely read for myself...I love your blog...
