In My Mailbox: Yes, Virginia, Book Bloggers Sell Books.

In My Mailbox comes compliments of The Story Siren!

I need to take a minute and share the awesome titles that have come my way recently. The one thing that they all have in common, though, is that they were all highly recommended by other book bloggers. I've done my honest best to recall which reviews closed the deal for me and to link accordingly, but the bottom line is: do book bloggers sell books? Yes, yes they do.

Blood Law

Blood Law by Karin Tabke- this one, in addition to having a fabulous cover, was talked up in a really awesome way by Tanya at Among the Muses. I should also point out that this was a post in the eBites meme, whose whole goal is pimping awesome upcoming and available in digital format releases. These are a few of my favorite things.

Chosen By Blood
Chosen by Blood by Virna DePaul- Tanya at Among the Muses scored another recommendation point with this one.  I ordered the book after finishing her review.  Suspense, intrigue, the paranormal and a super hot romance? Sign me up!

Dragon Bound
Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison- I first started hearing the buzz for this book at the end of last year, when Nalini Singh was talking this up in her Smugglivus guest post over at The Book Smugglers.  The fact that glowing reviews were posted at Dear Author and at Smexy Books didn't hurt at all either.  The sheer volume of buzz and good feelings about this book led me to throw caution to the wind read it right after I bought it, and I will say here and now that it lived up to the hype in every possible way.  My review is coming up soon, so prepare for more gushing there too.

Savage Nature
Savage Nature by Christine Feehan- Speaking of Smexy, the Smexy Books review of this book over at (you guessed it) Smexy Books convinced me to get back in the saddle with this series, so to speak.  I read this one as soon as I bought it too, and I'm happy to say that Madame Smexy did not lead me astray.  Review forthcoming!

Divergent
Divergent by Veronica Roth- I mentioned this one on Twitter a little bit, and how the reviews posted by the lovely Rachel of Parajunkee's View and Julie from My 5 Monkeys.  Everyone seems to be in love with this book, and I have high hopes for reading it myself.

Thanks to everyone for all of their great recommendations- never doubt for a minute that your words have power.  I'm looking forward to reading and reporting back on these books in the near future.
