Happenings (3): When It Rains, It Pours

Hello again! I've been super busy the past two weeks with work projects, getting back on my training schedule (I've registered for an 8k walk on November 17th) and starting my next class for my certification as a behavior analyst. I've been working on the same book this whole time and am currently being a TERRIBLE library patron by keeping it past its due date to finish it. Considering that I've returned about thirty books late in the last two weeks due to my insane schedule, though, I figure I'll just pay my debt to society and move on.

I actually have time to blog today because I and the rest of my region are expecting some out of town company:

Yes, Hurricane Sandy is apparently coming to dinner, and therefore school is cancelled for tomorrow. Totally the right decision (safety first) but this means that I have some unexpected free time to work on other projects.

Also, fun fact!  Awhile ago I got a wild hair and decided not to use IntenseDebate anymore.  I went to try to enable the standard Blogger nested comments and couldn't figure out how to do it without messing with my code and things that a) I don't have time for, sadly, and b) I don't trust myself not to screw up.  The solution was to go with Disqus, which solves my problem and works and all that, so now commenting is re-enabled on my posts.  Please feel free to comment, as I miss talking to people about books and other good stuff!
